This is the typical BBQ in Uruguay, lots of very good meat, usually goes with salads and "medio y medio" (half white wine and half Champagne) It is delicious!

Mercado del puerto
The "Market of the Port" was founded in 1868. It is a great place where you can find different restaurants to eat Uruguayan food and drink. Also, you can find local crafts, musicians, dancers, and painters. Saturday is the day to go, it fills up with families and friends. Great atmosphere.
