Montevideo is the largest city, the capital and chief port of Uruguay. With a population over 1,000,000. Also, it has beautiful beaches, many monuments, museums, historic buildings and squares.
Montevideo hosted all the matches of the first FIFA World Cup in 1930. The city is home to two football clubs: Nacional and Penarol.
Tango was originated in the neighborhoods of Montevideo at the end of the 1800s, other styles of music are Murga and Candombe.

What a strange looking structure.
i want to go and crawl up those interesting steps to the top just to see what I can see.
It looks like an alien:) Nice photo! This 'stairs' encourage to climb on the top of the building:)
